ASHBAUGH
ROY W., suddenly on Sat. Dec. 11, 2004, of Fox
Chase, for 67 years; beloved husband for 58 years to Florence R.
Gremmel Ashbaugh; loving father of Thomas R. and his wife
Esther, and Rev. John D. and his wife Lisa; devoted grandfather
of David, Shawn, Matthew, Rachel, Brandon, Adam, Tiffany, and
Joshua; brother of the late Alvah and Ernest Ashbaugh. Roy was
active with Cub Scout Pack 251 for 20 years serving as assistant
cub master, a member of AARP Chapter #3294, where he wrote their
newsletter, and was a lover of animals. He also served his
country in N. Africa and Italy during WWII where he received the
Purple Heart. Family and friends are invited to Roy's Life
Celebration Thurs. after 10 A.M. and to participate in his
Funeral Service at 11 A.M. Memorial Presbyterian Church of Fox
Chase, 7902 Oxford Ave., 19111. Int. Hillside Cem. In lieu of
flowers, a donation in Roy's memory to the Memorial Presbyterian
Church of Fox Chase would be appreciated. |
